First jump course: Two courses with 15 students
each are scheduled for the year 2001. The first one started on
March, the 27th, and the starting date of the second course is
yet to be determined. Students are trained by the static line
method.
The course training program consists of:
- classroom part - 24 hours;
- practical part (packing, parachute landing falls,
emergency procedures, exits) - 24 hours;
- 10 static line jumps from 1000 m AGL.
The jump course price (including exams and gear
renting) costs 1976.40 Kn (cca. 500 DM, US$ 238). Students use
Naro harness/container with Skymaster 290 main, Tempo 250 reserve
and Student Cypres.
Before making the first jump, the student must pass the "C"
level aviation medical exam. The students must also register as
members with the club.
